Welcome to Iron Rose Retrievers! My name is Colleen Lawler and I started Iron Rose Retrievers 20 years ago. Twenty years ago, I started my dream of raising Golden Retrievers. After half a dozen litters, I put my dream on hold. I could not devote enough time to them with having 4 young, adventurous boys, working full-time at a veterinary hospital, and farming. My primary goal is to responsibly breed English Golden Retrievers that excel in the companion animal world. My Goldens must have passed all testing, have an excellent temperament and great personality, or I will not breed them. Their health, happiness, and livelihood are my top priorities. I love our dogs and every puppy holds a special place in my heart. We also care a great deal about the people who adopt our puppies and offer a 24-month health guarantee and pre-screen all potential owners through our puppy application process. I will only accept the best families for an Iron Rose puppy because that's what my Golden Retriever puppies deserve!

Iron Rose Retrievers is located on a farm in the rolling hills of Eastern Iowa, 10 minutes East of the renown "Field of Dreams" and 10 minutes West of the Historic City of Dubuque. Iron Rose adults and puppies are raised in our home with us and enjoy the same comforts as us. Our puppies will be well-socialized, will have gone on car rides, experienced various environments and textures and sounds, making them a well-rounded puppy.
